Overview
After an out-of-character 2024 campaign where Notts finished bottom of their group, they showed significant improvement last season. Ending in fifth place, they narrowly missed out on a quarter-final spot. The two-time winners recorded seven wins and seven losses in 2025 and will be eager to break back into the knockout stages this time around.
The Outlaws have a refreshed look in the overseas department following the departures of Daniel Sams and Moises Henriques. South African all-rounder George Linde has joined the club for the full campaign. While Peter Siddle was also initially recruited, he has since been denied permission to play due to his involvement in a "disapproved" league for retired players. Consequently, the club may dip back into the market for another seamer, a move worth monitoring. Additionally, the experienced Benny Howell arrives from Hampshire, bringing the consistency and variation that has made him a standout performer in recent years.

Banker / Wildcard / Young Gun / England Pick
Banker: Joe Clarke (WKT)
Clarke is one of the first names on the team sheet, having been the club's leading run-scorer in 2024 and second-highest in 2025. Last season, he amassed 420 runs at an average of 30 and a blistering strike rate of 160.30. He and George Munsey will provide a classic left-hand/right-hand combination at the top of the order as they look to form a formidable opening partnership.
Wildcard: George Munsey (BAT)
The Scotland international has been rewarded for his prolific returns in Associate Cricket and World Cups with a move to Trent Bridge. Following the departure of Alex Hales and with Ben Duckett often away on England duty, the opening spot alongside Clarke was up for grabs. Munsey is a consistent operator who can provide the explosive starts Notts crave. Since the start of 2024, he has averaged 37 with a strike rate of 145.7 in international T20s.
Young Gun: Farhan Ahmed (BWL)
The 18-year-old off-spinner made six appearances last season and is poised for a larger role this year. The departure of first-choice white-ball spinner Calvin Harrison to Northants has opened a clear vacancy in the attack. In his limited outings last year, Ahmed impressed by grabbing 8 wickets at an average of 21.25. Valued at just £5.9m, he offers excellent budget flexibility for draft managers.
England Watch: Olly Stone (BWL)
Stone last featured for England in 2024 and was restricted to just four Blast appearances for Notts last year due to injury. However, he is back to full fitness and has started the 2026 season strongly in red-ball cricket following a complete pre-season. With significant experience in global franchise leagues, Stone possesses elite T20 pedigree. He will be looking for a heavy workload this summer to reclaim his best form; notably, he was the club's leading wicket-taker in 2024 with 15 scalps.
