These User Terms and Conditions are effective as of 18 March 2026

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

Welcome to The Cricket Draft Fantasy Game (the "Fantasy Game" or “the Game”), a free-to-play fantasy sports game operated by The Cricket Draft Ltd.

All references to "The Cricket Draft", "we", "our" or "us" is a reference to The Cricket Draft Ltd, a company incorporated in England & Wales and registered under company number 13301485 with its operational address at 7 Abbey Street, Ickleton, Saffron Walden, Essex, CB10 1SS, UK.

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply exclusively to your registration for and use of the Fantasy Game, which is accessible via our website (www.thecricketdraft.com) and The Cricket Draft mobile app.

Important Exclusion: We also operate a separate, regulated real-money pool betting product called The Cricket Draft Duels ("Duels"). These Terms do not apply to Duels. Duels is governed by its own terms and conditions and regulatory requirements. Participating in the Fantasy Game does not grant you access to Duels, and any data, points, or non-monetary assets associated with your Fantasy account are completely separate from the Duels platform (excluding your personal details that are shared across Fantasy and Duels accounts in the event that you register for both games).

By registering for an account and playing the Fantasy Game, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Fantasy Game.

2. ELIGIBILITY

• Global Access: The Fantasy Game is open to users worldwide.

• Under 18s: Users under the age of 18 are welcome to play the Fantasy Game. However, if you are under 18, you must have the permission of a parent or guardian to claim any physical or cash-equivalent prizes.

• Under 13s: If you are under the age of 13, you must not register for an account without the verifiable permission of your parent or guardian.

• Single Account Policy: You are only permitted to register one account per person. You may not register multiple accounts, nor may you allow anyone else to access or play the Fantasy Game using your account or personal details.

• Free to Play: No purchase or payment is required to enter or play the Fantasy Game.

3. ACCOUNT SECURITY

When registering an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your email address and password. You shall be responsible for all uses of your account where your email and password have been entered correctly, whether authorised or unauthorised. You agree to immediately notify The Cricket Draft of any unauthorised use of your account or any other breach of security. The Cricket Draft cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this section.

4. PLAYING THE GAME (RULES)

The specific rules and mechanics of how to play the Fantasy Game - including squad building, scoring points, making transfers and automatic substitutions - are detailed on the How To Play page within the Game.

The rules, scoring systems, and deadlines set out on the How To Play page form a binding part of these Terms. We reserve the right to amend the How To Play rules at any time. The Cricket Draft reserves the right to alter, amend or supplement the Game Rules from time to time in its absolute discretion in the event of any circumstances beyond its reasonable control arising or where it considers it desirable to do so. You agree that no liability shall attach to The Cricket Draft as a result of any such change and so are advised to check the Game Rules regularly.

• Strict Deadlines: Gameweek deadlines are final. Any changes, transfers, or squad submissions made or saved after the Gameweek deadline will not be applied to the current Gameweek and will instead be applied to the next Gameweek. No leniency will be given and no retroactive points will be awarded for missed deadlines.

• Points and Scoring: Points are awarded based on real-world player performances using data from our third-party data provider. Once points for a Gameweek are finalised and validated by our system, they are final. We will not retroactively adjust leaderboards if an official governing body (e.g., the ICC or ECB) amends a match result days later.

• Final Say: The Cricket Draft is the sole decision-maker regarding the interpretation of the rules, the allocation of points, and leaderboard rankings. Our decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

5. USER CONDUCT

We want the Fantasy Game to be an inclusive, safe, and fun environment. By playing, you agree that you will not:

• Use Inappropriate Names: Create team names or league names that are profane, derogatory, discriminatory, offensive, or promotional. We reserve the right to change unacceptable names or delete the associated accounts without notice.

• Commercialise Custom Leagues: Create or participate in custom leagues for commercial purposes. This includes charging users an entry fee to join a league or making entry conditional on the purchase of goods/services. If we suspect a league is being used for unregulated gambling or commercial gain, we will delete the league and suspend the associated accounts.

• Cheat or Hack: Use automated systems, bots, or scripting tools to access the Game, extract data, or manage your squad.

6. PRIZES

From time to time, we may offer prizes within the Fantasy Game. Where prizes are available for a given competition, details will be published on our website and app and, from time to time, via other channels such as social media or email communications. These may be awarded for overall leaderboard winners, specific Gameweek winners, or winners of other specific leagues.

• Winner Determination: Winners will be determined based on the top-ranking user(s) within a particular leaderboard or league, or at random (in the event of a prize draw/giveaway), as outlined within the prize section of the How To Play page and/or on the specific prize promotional information shared via other channels such as social media or email.

• Prize Eligibility Restrictions: Certain prizes may only be available to users within specific geographical regions or above certain age limits. If a winning user is deemed ineligible for a specific prize based on these restrictions, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to the next eligible ranking user.

• Employee Exclusion: Employees (and immediate family members) of The Cricket Draft may enter the Game but are strictly ineligible to win any Prizes. Professional cricketers participating in the Game are also ineligible to win any physical or cash-equivalent prizes.

• Discretion: All prizes are offered entirely at our discretion. We reserve the right to alter, amend, or withdraw prizes at any time if circumstances beyond our control require us to do so.

• No Cash Alternatives: Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable. No cash alternatives will be offered under any circumstances.

• Winner Notification: Winners will be notified via the email address registered to their account. If a winner does not respond within 28 days to confirm they wish to receive their prize, we reserve the right to forfeit the prize and award it to the next eligible player.

• Under 18s: If a prize winner is under 18, we require written consent from a parent or guardian before the prize can be awarded. Such permission must include confirmation that the parent/guardian agrees to the user being awarded the prize, agrees to the publication of the user's name as the winner (where applicable), and will accompany the user during any travel connected to the prize (where applicable).

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

We own all intellectual property rights in the Fantasy Game, including graphics, branding, logos, and Game data. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any component of the Fantasy Game without our prior written consent.
 

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

• "As Is" Basis: The Fantasy Game is provided to you free of charge and on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we strive to ensure the Game is available and accurate, we cannot guarantee it will be free from faults, bugs, or downtime.

• No Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Cricket Draft accepts no liability for any loss, damage, or disappointment suffered by you as a result of playing the Game, relying on Game data, or accepting a prize. We are not responsible for technical failures, late data processing, or device issues that may prevent you from playing the Game as intended.

• Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud.

9. ACCOUNT CLOSURE, SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION

• User Closure: If you wish to close your user account, you can do so within your account settings or by contacting our Customer Support (via email at fantasysupport@thecricketdraft.com).

• Suspension/Termination: We reserve the right to suspend, modify, or permanently delete your account, or refuse you entry to the Fantasy Game, if you breach any of these Terms or the How To Play rules. If you are banned from the Fantasy Game, you may not return under a different identity or account.

10. GENERAL

• Data Privacy: Your personal data will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

• Public Visibility: By participating in the Game, you acknowledge that your name, team name, and leaderboard position may be publicly visible to other users (such as within overall or public leagues) and may be published by us for marketing purposes, unless you have elected to be anonymous within your account settings.

• Communications: You may select whether or not you wish to receive marketing communications from us. You may change your communication preferences at any time through your account settings.

• Changes to Terms: We may update these Terms from time to time. Your continued use of the Fantasy Game after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

• Severability: If any provision of these Terms is determined to be illegal, invalid, or otherwise unenforceable by a competent authority, then the remaining terms shall continue in full force and effect.

• Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.
