  • Position: 6th

  • Top Run-Scorer: Andre Fletcher (310 runs)

  • Top Wicket-Taker: Waqar Salamkheil (15 wickets)

In their 10 CPL seasons, the Patriots have finished bottom of the table five times. Since winning the title in 2021, they have missed out on the playoffs every single year. In fact, they have won just 9 of their last 40 CPL matches—a track record that hardly inspires overwhelming confidence heading into this campaign.

That said, they did claim four victories last season, and with some shrewd recruitment, a playoff push might just be within reach in 2026.

St Kitts & Nevis Patriots 2026 CPL Preview: Fantasy Cricket Banker, Wildcard & Young Gun

The Patriots will be led by Jason Holder, who arrives fresh off captaining the Los Angeles Knight Riders to Major League Cricket success. His proven leadership could be the catalyst this franchise desperately needs.

They have retained most of their local core from last season, while overseas stars Naseem Shah and Waqar Salamkheil provide crucial continuity. By backing the class of 2025, St Kitts & Nevis will hope that squad familiarity pays early dividends.

Banker: Jason Holder (ALR | £8.2m)

Now widely recognised as one of the premier bowling all-rounders in T20 cricket, Holder simply makes things happen. Last season, he snared 13 wickets at an economy rate of 7.8 while averaging 38.0 with the bat at an explosive 168.0 strike rate.

He has only elevated his game since, making him an absolute no-brainer to deliver high-floor fantasy returns across every facet of the game.

Wildcard: Navin Bidaisee (ALR | £6.7m)

Bidaisee boasted the second-best economy rate in the squad last season behind Holder (8.04). A mystery leg-break bowler who has risen to prominence over the past year, he offers unique tactical value.

While primarily picked for his bowling, Bidaisee can also contribute useful lower-order runs—notching a fifty last season while striking at 121.0 across the tournament. If he builds on those metrics, he could prove to be a standout bargain buy.

Young Gun: Kevin Wickham (BAT | £4.8m)

Wickham comes off a highly productive red-ball season in the Caribbean that had several pundits calling for a West Indies senior call-up.

While red-ball form doesn't automatically translate to T20 success, confidence is everything, and Wickham is playing the best cricket of his career. Having featured in just seven CPL games over the last three seasons, his offseason move from Antigua to St Kitts suggests Holder and the coaching staff see something special in his upside.
