Overview
The two-time champions enjoyed a solid campaign in 2025, qualifying from the South Group in fourth place with seven wins and six defeats. They finished two points clear of Glamorgan to secure their knockout spot, though their journey ended in the quarter-finals following a dominant performance by Liam Livingstone for Lancashire.
Tawanda Muyeye was the standout performer with the bat, well-supported by veterans Joe Denly and Daniel Bell-Drummond, both of whom surpassed the 300-run mark. The bowling unit showed impressive collective strength, with all five main bowlers reaching double figures for wickets. Nathan Gilchrist and Fred Klaassen led the attack with 15 wickets apiece, while Matt Parkinson (14), Tom Rogers (12), and Joey Evison (11) provided constant pressure. With Gilchrist and Jack Leaning departing this year, the arrival of Matt Milnes and Sam Northeast will be crucial as Kent looks to push for Finals Day once again.

Key Picks: Banker, Wildcard, Young Gun & England Watch
Banker: Tawanda Muyeye (BAT)
The engine room of the batting unit, Muyeye amassed 516 runs in 2025, the sixth-highest total in the competition. His season included a brilliant century and three fifties, averaging 34.40 at the top of the order with a strike rate of 141.75. With a settled middle order behind him, expect Muyeye to be the primary source of heavy runs and fantasy points this summer.
Wildcard: Grant Stewart (ALR)
Valued at £6.7m, the Italian international remains a dangerous "dual-threat" asset. While he wasn’t at his absolute best in the 2025 Blast, his confidence will be sky-high after picking up two wickets against England in the T20 World Cup. Capable of clearing the ropes with ease at the death (boasting a career T20 strike rate of 146), he offers immense value if he finds his rhythm with both disciplines.
Young Gun: Ben Dawkins (BAT)
The 19-year-old has primarily featured in first-class and List A cricket but is a T20 star in waiting. After notching a blistering century in the Second XI T20 last summer, Dawkins is eager to make his Blast debut. At just £5.1m, he is a budget-friendly option who could explode onto the scene if he breaks into Kent’s experienced starting XI.
England Watch: Zak Crawley (BAT)
Crawley faces a pivotal summer. While his Test spot has come under scrutiny recently, his white-ball form for the Spitfires in 2025 was undeniable. He hammered 242 runs in just five innings, averaging a massive 60.50 with a strike rate of 169.23. If he is available for a significant portion of the tournament, he is arguably the most destructive batter in the county circuit.
